Okanagan Lake is still rising; flood prevention measures continue

The flood watch continues in the central Okanagan as do precautionary measures to protect homes and infrastructure from the rising level of Okanagan Lake. The amount of water coming into the lake exceeds what’s draining out. That means the risk is increasing but it doesn’t mean lake flooding is inevitable. The weather will determine that.
