B.C. tulip fields are still bare this spring

Cold weather and a long winter meant a slow start to the annual B.C. tulip season. The fields were still bare at the popular Abbotsford Tulip Festival at the start of April. Organizers said they were seven to ten days later than normal and almost four weeks later than in 2016.
