More deadly cousin to fentanyl found in BC interior

It was bound to happen. Still, it’s a grim discovery. The highly toxic, synthetic opioid carfentanil has been found in the Interior Health region. Carfentanil is much stronger than its cousin drug, fentanyl, and its presence in the interior increases the likelihood of overdose deaths.
