Proposals made at talks aimed at reunifying Cyprus will ultimately be decided by the people in two referenda on either side of the divide. Speaking at a news conference in Geneva on Friday, Espen Barth Eide, Special Advisor to the UN Secretary-General on Cyprus, said that they would be looking at new ways to solve old problems.
