Public meeting planned in light of recent rash of overdoses in Penticton
Like many communities in B.C., Penticton is dealing with a spike in the number of drug overdoses. As police and paramedics do their best to handle the growing number of calls, an addictions centre in the south Okanagan is also ramping up its efforts. It is holding a public meeting Wednesday night. As Neetu Garcha reports, the goal is to provide the public with much more knowledge about the overdose epidemic.
