Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) affects tens of thousands of people in Saskatchewan and is considered the biggest, single cause of mental disabilities in western countries. For Myles Himmelrich, living with FASD meant being misunderstood and drove him to a life of substance abuse. It’s not an uncommon story for those with a disability that has little in the way of supports. Blake Lough reports.
