RCMP memorial service remembers Const. Sarah Beckett who died in line of duty

Sun, Sep 11: It was a sombre day for RCMP officers as they gathered at the RCMP Depot for the national memorial service. The yearly event commemorates those who have lost their lives while on duty. There had been 236 to date, but as Christa Dao reports, today one more name was inscribed on the cenotaph.
