First Arctic patrol ship by Irving is a ‘significant challenge’: president

Wed, Sep 7: It’s been one year since Irving shipbuilding cut steel on its first arctic offshore patrol ship. Despite many challenges, it’s expecting to deliver the first of the vessels on time and on budget. It’s a project many see as a test-run for the yet-to-be-finalized contract for Canada’s new fleet of warships. Global’s Steve Silva has more.
