Sat, Jan 16: One worker is dead and one is critically injured in an explosion at an oilsands plant near Fort McMurray, Alberta. Nexen Energy has issued a news release saying there is no immediate danger to the neighbouring community or to personnel still on site at the Long Lake plant. Nexen says the affected facility has been shut down. Reid Fiest reports.
