Sunday was a day to celebrate and honour our moms. But Mother’s Day can also be a heart-wrenching struggle for those who have lost a parent. There’s now a new and growing movement to reframe the occasion. Motherless Day began in Toronto in 2024 and has spread across the country, offering sympathy and support.
