Iran is being accused of unleashing deadly force on demonstrators and today Tehran issued a sharp warning to Washington that U.S. forces and Israel could become legitimate targets, saying it will retaliate against any strikes inside its territory. It’s still difficult to understand fully what is happening, given that the Internet and communication lines have been cut. But according to human rights groups, more than 500 people have been killed and over 10,000 have been arrested, with activists warning the actual numbers might be much higher.
