New rules for carbon monoxide detectors in Ontario

Starting January 1, new carbon monoxide detector requirements come into force for single-family and multi-tenant homes with fuel-burning appliances, fireplaces, flues, or attached garages. The updated rules outline where detectors must be installed, and which types are compliant.
