COMMENTARY: ‘Bailey’s Law’ passes second reading

It’s a political victory for the family of Bailey McCourt in Ottawa. Bailey’s Law is a Conservative private members bill named after the Kelowna woman who was killed in July, and has passed second reading. As Klaudia Van Emmerik reports, the bill proposes changes to the criminal code regarding intimate partner violence.
