Calgary officials address memo claiming federal housing funds ‘paused’ over rezoning repeal

Budget talks at Calgary city hall are largely being overshadowed by conflicting information and confusion around the future of federal housing money for the city. In a memo, obtained by Global News, city administration said the funding was paused due to the upcoming debate over repealing citywide rezoning, but the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation is refuting that claim. Now the man who wrote the memo is trying to set the record straight. Adam MacVicar reports.
