At a press conference on Wednesday, Francois-Philippe Champagne and Sweden’s Deputy Prime Minister Ebba Busch said their new Canada–Sweden strategic partnership is now moving into action. Champagne called the agreement a follow-through on the deal signed the day before, while Busch highlighted cooperation in innovation, energy and security. The update came as the Swedish royals toured Ericsson’s Ottawa R&D labs, where both countries viewed Canadian led work on next generation network technology.
