November 3, 2025
Environmental groups are intervening to protect rare ecosystems across Cape Breton island. The Nova Scotia Nature Trust has announced its goal to purchase and preserve a section of coastline along the Bras d’Or. This, as West Mabou Beach Provincial Park dominated political discussions last week and are residents rally to protect that site form a proposed golf development. Ella MacDonald reports.
