Texas Gov. Greg Abbott turning up the heat on Friday morning, pushing Democratic lawmakers to return to the state capital so Republicans can pass a controversial state redistricting plan with national implications. Abbott tells NBC News in an exclusive interview that they are “searching for, preparing to arrest Democrats who may be in Texas, may be elsewhere.” Texas Sen. John Cornyn says federal law enforcement has approved his request to track down the missing Democrats who could face felony charges of bribery.
