On Thursday, Marlo Pritchard, Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency president (SPSA) and fire commissioner, reported that the province is currently facing 56 active wildfires, with four classified as contained, 15 not contained, and 19 undergoing assessment. Approximately 3,000 individuals have evacuated from their homes as a precautionary measure amid the ongoing threats posed by these wildfires.
