A Montreal businessman is facing charges of second-degree murder and concealment of a body after his nine-year-old daughter was found dead in the U.S. The father is accused of killing the girl on vacation in New York. He initially told police she was abducted, but investigators say that was a lie. Touria Izri reports on what we know so far. Public Safety Minister Gary Anandasangaree says he was only doing his job and downplayed his involvement in a national security case about letters he wrote supporting a member of a terrorist group. A Global News investigation uncovered Anandasangaree had asked Canadian officials to back the immigration bid of a man who was already deemed by Canada as a member of the Tamil Tigers.
