Founded in Fredericton in 2010, the Capital City Rollers have helped grow roller derby in the region. On Saturday, their original team, The Spitfires, played their first home game since the Covid-19 pandemic. Johnny James spoke with members about how the team kept momentum during the hiatus — and how some local athletes have now made it to the international stage. Johnny James reports.
