Some Montreal firefighters are adding their voices to the chorus of concerns surrounding safety at the Verdun beach after two drownings in three weeks.
They’re using the recent tragedies to reinforce calls to change some operational procedures, considering the close proximity of one fire station to the beach. Global’s Phil Carpenter reports.
