At his first cabinet meeting on Wednesday, U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed that on “April 2nd, the tariffs go on. Not all of them, but a lot of them. He added that “We’ve been taken advantage of as a country for a long period of time. We’ve been tariffed.” The tariffs are worldwide reciprocal tariffs and are separate from the March 4 border-related tariffs on Canada and Mexico.
