Much of southern Ontario and Quebec remains under winter storm warnings as heavy snowfall blankets the region, with accumulations ranging from 15 to 40 centimetres expected by Thursday. New Brunswick could see up to 25 centimetres, while snowfall in western Newfoundland is forecast to continue into Friday. Meanwhile, extreme cold persists across parts of Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Alberta, and northern Ontario, where wind chills are expected to drop to -40 or lower this week.
