Tariff trouble sparks push in Peterborough to buy local

New tariffs from the U.S. and retaliatory tariffs from the Canadian government were set to drive up prices on U.S. goods– but at the last minute, they’ve been put on hold. Still, the threat alone has many Canadians thinking differently about where their money goes, and some are making a conscious effort to buy local.
