Ontarians are set to hit the polls late February, Premier Doug Ford said Friday announcing his plan to visit Lt. Gov. Edith Dumont on Jan. 29 to dissolve his government. On his reasoning, Ford told reporters in Brampton, “We need a mandate from the people to fight against [U.S. President] Donald Trump’s tariffs.”
