TikTok ordered out of Canada

November 9, 2024
Ottawa is ordering TikTok to end its Canadian business interests, after a national security review.
The decision was announced by Innovation and Science Minister Francois-Philippe Champagne earlier this week.
While Canadians are not banned from using the app, TikTok has told Global News it will look to challenge the order in court.
