Pharmacists in Alberta are baffled by the provincial government’s announcement come Nov. 1, it’s rolling back reimbursements to pharmacists who do front-line care such as helping come up with care plans for patients with complex health conditions, such as diabetes, mental illness and cardiovascular disease. As Jayme Doll reports, some say it’s not only going to hurt practices, but patients will suffer as well.
