On Wednesday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau testified at a federal inquiry into foreign interference that key documents on Chinese interference were not shared with him until 2023, but did not contain information he needed to know. Trudeau said, “I have faith, having looked at the papers, that it was indeed the right decision by the National Security Intelligence Advisor (NSIA) that it wasn’t a document that significantly added in a relevant way to my understanding of the situation.”
