There’s one week to go in the B.C. election campaign and the leaders of the NDP and Conservatives spent the day in the vote-rich suburbs of Vancouver. Parents of Abbotsford teen Brianna Macdonald, who died of a suspected overdose this summer, told Members of Parliament that the country’s drug system is broken. Farmers have launched a campaign to secure water rights, warning food production could be at risk if they don’t get them.
