Former SAIT students cracking down on broken pavement
Description
October 12, 2024
A group of former SAIT Engineering Technology researchers believe by adding graphene to concrete, it could be the answer to preventing sidewalks and pathways from cracking. The group says graphene is up to 200 times stronger than steel, making sidewalks stronger and more flexible during the winter months. The project is now a finalist for the provincial 2024 ASET Capstone Project of the Year Award.
