Damning testimony on how the Jasper wildfire was managed by Parks Canada came out Monday at a federal committee reviewing how the disaster was handled. As Lisa MacGregor explains, some private firefighters claimed Parks Canada blocked their efforts to help save the community, while the federal agency said the for-profit company showed up unannounced at a time when there wasn’t a shortage of resources.
