A museum in Nova Scotia is looking for former students from one of Canada’s segregated schools in the province known as ‘The Kitchen School,’ to preserve their stories of living through legislated racial inequality in Canada’s education system. Heidi Petracek sits down with a former student of the school, and with those making sure these stories aren’t lost.
