Air Canada strike could cost economy $90M per day, economists warn

Hundreds of thousands of Air Canada passengers across the country are bracing for a looming pilot’s strike. Flights could be impacted this weekend if a deal isn’t reached, and negotiations are dead-locked. Economists warn a shutdown could cost the Canadian economy more than $90 million each day. Business leaders are calling on Ottawa to intervene, but Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says he’s staying out of it. Touria Izri has more.
