Montreal's West Island is one step closer to seeing the REM commuter rail service. The first tests of running cars along the 14-kilometre stretch of track have begun, but rolling the system into service is still at least several months away. As Global's Tim Sargeant reports, accessing some of the stations by car remains a big obstacle.
