The leader of the Lebanon-based militant group Hezbollah said on Sunday that their large rocket and drone attack on Israel went to plan. That is despite Israel claiming to have used around 100 fighter jets to pre-emptively hit Hezbollah targets Sunday morning. This is one of the largest escalations between the two sides since they began a regular exchange of fire across the Israel-Lebanon border, after the Oct. 7, 2023 Hamas attacks on Israel.
