Conservative House Leader Andrew Scheer on Monday called on the NDP and Bloq Quebecois to support their recall of the public safety committee from summer vacation to investigate how a Toronto man charged in a recent terror plot gained entry into Canada. Last week, the federal government declined to explain how Ahmed Fouad Mostafa Eldidi, 62, was able to immigrate to Canada despite allegedly having taken part in ISIS violence overseas.
