The Halifax Regional Municipality is looking into traffic signal techniques implemented by the province last year to make intersections safer for pedestrians. As Ella MacDonald reports, ‘Exclusive Pedestrian Phases’ gives all vehicles a red light, so pedestrians don’t have to worry about cars turning into them.
