A park in Keene at the corner of Pinecrest Avenue and Hillview Drive has been dedicated. A ceremony was held on Saturday morning by the Keene Masonic Lodge, as well as members of The Grand Lodge of Canada in the Province of Ontario. The park is now called the 'Keene Masonic Park.' For the past 145 years, the Masons have been part of the Keene community. The fraternity has donated playground equipment at North Shore Public School, presented four bursaries to Thomas A. Stewart Secondary School graduating students, and donated for the naming rights of the park.
