It’s an urban planning proposal that some say would alleviate heavy traffic congestion for tens of thousands of drivers a day. Global News has learned that Transport Quebec is studying a proposal to build a new highway 20 bypass route west of the Island of Montreal. As Tim Sargeant reports, the bypass would divert traffic off the existing route, avoiding many traffic lights in Vaudreuil-Dorion.
