It’s no secret Quebec will face an increase in the number and severity of floods in the near future. In an effort to help mitigate the damage, the Quebec government has announced plans to update the province’s flood zone regulations. It includes the development of new flood zone maps. And under the new regulations, tens of thousands more homes across the province could be affected. Global’s Phil Carpenter reports.
