UBCO students build robots to fight wildfires

The 2023 wildfire season was the most destructive on record in B.C. and across Canada. Thousands were forced out of their communities and homes were lost to wildfires. That inspired a group of UBC Okanagan students to create an autobot to sniff out zombie fires which are wildfires that can smoulder unnoticed for months.
