Ethics committee questions Boissonnault over texts

Ethics Commissioner Konrad von Finckenstein is looking into the business dealings of Employment, Workforce Development and Official Languages Minister Randy Boissonnault. It centres on Boissonnault’s ties to a lobbyist and a medical supply company embroiled in lawsuits. As Krista Hessey reports, while Boissonnault says he’s followed ethics and lobbying rules, newly obtained text messages raise questions about his potential involvement in a business deal a year after he was elected.
