A two-vehicle collision in Peterborough caused one vehicle to spin and strike a home on Monday afternoon. Emergency crews responded to the scene on Rubidge Street at Townsend just before 5 p.m and found one van on the sidewalk, facing the wrong way with several windows smashed out. The driver of the van was assessed by paramedics, it is unclear at this time if he was taken to hospital. The occupants of the other vehicle were not seriously hurt. The cause of the collision remains under investigation by Peterborough police.
