Researchers are creating a network of hospital emergency departments and primary care clinics across Canada to help detect early signs of future pandemics. The network will swab patients coming in with respiratory symptoms and, with permission, send the samples to a lab. Nivrita Ganguly has the details in Health Matters for Tuesday, May 7, 2024.
