Kingsgate Mall celebrates 50th birthday

An anachronism in Vancouver’s Mount Pleasant neighbourhood is celebrating a milestone birthday. There’s no one word to describe Kingsgate Mall, but for half a century it has defiantly stood its ground and has survived changing tastes and the decline of brick and mortar retail.
