An open house was held in Abbeydale Wednesday evening with area residents giving feedback on the city’s latest plan to extend Memorial Drive. The road currently ends at 68th street, but there’s increased incentive to link it to growing suburbs along Stoney Trail. As Sarah Offin reports, it’s creating controversy among residents who remember a once quiet community on the city’s eastern edge.
