The clock is ticking for an evacuation order to kick in at 6 p.m. tonight for residents in a Kelowna building that could be structurally compromised. The building is next to the construction of UBC-Okanagan’s downtown tower, where work has now come to a screeching halt. As Klaudia Van Emmerik reports, the university vows to do what it can to make things better including for those who have been displaced, many with a wide spectrum of challenges.
