They are all Special Olympic athletes themselves and although not competing in the Special Olympics Canada Winter Games, they have been out in the community, giving speeches, welcoming competitors to Calgary, and meeting sponsors. Organizers say the ambassadors were consulted on pretty much every decision. Linda Olsen sat down with them to learn more about their experiences as athletes and what it means to be an ambassador.
