In 2020, doctors discovered a tumor on Shiloh’s optic nerve. If the doctors operate and remove the tumor right now, Shiloh could permanently lose vision in his left eye. So for now, he undergoes weekly chemotherapy treatments to try and shrink the tumor and eventually remove it. To help Shiloh deal with his emotions, he sees a Somatic Therapist. Somatic Therapy is a therapy that aims to treat mental and emotional health issues through the connection of mind and body. Thankfully Variety provided Shiloh’s mom with a grant to cover the cost of the expensive private therapy sessions.
