Two people were taken to hospital after a transport truck and pickup truck collided on Highway 7 just east of Omemee, Ont., on Wednesday morning. The collision occurred around 5:25 a.m. near Emily Park Road.
The highway was closed until 4 p.m. as crews continued cleanup as the transport spilled a large amount of construction supplies including lumber.
City of Kawartha Lakes OPP are investigating.
